		<description>The pericarp is the inner part of the rind between the mangosteen flesh and the rind itself. No stomach, even if it was made of iron could tolerate digesting the entire rind like you did.  As for the recommended dosage of pericarp will very but 4 grams is the upper limits.</description>

		<description>I came across that mangosteen has very good properties which aid in healing hay fever. Being a constant sufferer of hay fever, made me run down to the market and get the fruit. I had seen the fruit for real for the first time and cut it open and enjoyed the pulp, however I didn&#039;t know how to eat the bitter pericarp, hence ground it in the mixer-grinder and gulped it down at one go. I then faced a problem- I threw-up and also had loose-motion. I want to know how to how the fruit can be eaten and how much of it can be consumed per day. Please help.</description>
