Warfarin is a blood thinner and therefore mangosteen may interfer with its effects. Therefore, it is recommended that if you do take mangosteen you do so under the supervision of your physician so he can follow you up regularly with blood work. As for hypertension medications, we have several our our existing customers who take both the mangosteen and hypertention medications without any side effects. However, the mangosteen we sell is in freeze dried form and it's the mangosteen pericarp so I would not be able to advise if the Vemma brand would work the same.

Yes Coumadin can affect the platelet count. The platelets are produced in the bone marrow and Coumadin interfers with the production of the platelets in the bone marrow.

I take Warfarin and hypertension medications. I need to know if this will interfere with my meds. I have done some reading and found it to be inconclusive. Do any of the other ingredients interfere with my meds? Does anyone using Vemma take the same meds and if so what are their results?
Please let me know as I am anxious to try Vemma.

Thank you
